A short bio...
William E. Steinberg, the author of The Tarzan Club Series, was born and spent the first ten years of his life in Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee. Moving to California in nineteen forty-six, he lived in the Bay Area following World War II and studied at the University of California, Berkeley. Nursing a desire to write and no desire to obtain a degree he felt free to pursue "everything I thought interesting..." to the consternation of friends and family. But it was all fodder for the writer's mill and as he says, "very necessary for my development as a novelist."
Emerging from the world of intellectualism and higher education he made his living first in the field of shipping and later in the stock market, finally developing an interest in Real Estate where he carved out a family business. Taking an early retirement in 2000 to pursue his lifelong interest in writing novels he completed The Tarzan Club Series and prepared to begin publishing in 2007. Book One "The Club" is the first in this series.
Mr. Steinberg is currently at work preparing Book Two of The Tarzan Club Series, "Girls," for publication.
